7 race series based in Falmouth with 5 round the cans and two passage races to and from Fowey (3 & 4), one race discard.  First two races on day one turned into a race to the can with the wind dying before we got to the first mark and a bit of a lottery.  Passage races also affected by the dying wind but managed to recover a forth place on the race to Fowey from plumb last at one point even though we had a great start.  Race back hinged on your position off Dodman's point and we managed to get to the wind in shore and picked up a second.  Thursday's races were held in more stable winds and actually managed to get round a few buoys with a win in race 5 in the morning and a second in the afternoon.  The series came down to the final race on Friday with Raffles and ourselves battling for first overall.  Bit of a tense race with a couple of start line incidents which held us back slightly and a more significant coming together at the last mark with Xara but all sorted in the bar later.  Raffles did all they could for the series win with a first but our second sealed the overall victory.  Great week in Falmouth with good racing and post race events
