Everything started OK for the race back with windwood position at the pin end of the line but went a bit down hill after that.  Couldn't point as high as the rest of the fleet so ended up inshore from them and decided to hug the shore up to North Head.  Didn't look too bad an option initially but by the time we got to North Head we were at the back of the fleet and faced tide against to get through Hurst which the rest of the fleet probably did not.  Multiple tacks up the side of Hurst spit to get round the corner and once over on the Main Land side a pretty straight forward trip up the Solent but ended up last on the water with Ariane retiring.
