Bit of a hectic start as only got to the identity gate on the 10 min gun. Motored till the 5 minute up tide then judged the turn for start perfectly and headed off in the lead. Lead for 3/4 of the way to Darling Asasociates before a tricky wind shift put Spectrum ahead. White sailed to Kemps Quay then put kite up for long leg to Seven Star Yacht Services. Across the Solent to Newtown East with a tricky tide offset, rounded ok but no wind so drifted down tide. Rest of fleet approached with breeze and rounded well, slow progress across Solent to get out of the tide on the mainland shore and short tacked up the contours. Made it round the steel post and were progressing well at the head of the fleet when race control abandoned the race due to time constraints on Lymington mooring.
