Re-arranged Island Double which was constrained to racing within the Solent but due to light winds even this was curtailed to Westerly mark of Craftinsurance and Easterly of North Sturbridge.  Off the start hoisted the kite and the fleet split between a Northerly route out of the tide and a direct route to the first mark.  We were in the direct group and seemed to loose out as were entered the Western Solent heading for Craftiinsurance.  As the fleet approached the mark the leading boat radio RC that it wasn't in fact there so we had to do a GPS rounding of where the mark should have been.  Did better on the beat back to Lepe Spit and made up a few places.  Again as we rounded Lepe Spit some boats headed in shore out of the tide and made some big gains.  Also by this time RC had shorted course and we were now heading directly for the finish at John Fisher.  What the little wind there was now becoming very fluky which made it a bit of a struggle to get to the line including a complete 360 for no apparent reason.
