Pretty light winds at the start with the kite up start away, kept in the main channel for the better tide with the other boats going further across. Approaching Hurst the wind veered which favoured the boats further across the Solent but by this time we were already some way behind.  Bit of a cock up with the kite drop at Bridge but recovered for a good rounding and then a long beat back.  By the time we got back to Hurst the tide was turning so got through OK but again well behind the main fleet.  Couldn't pull anything back up the Solent to the finish so a pretty disappointing result.
