Crowded start at the pin end of the line and not moving that well initially. Picked up once the breeze filled in and we got some clear air. A few boats tried there asymmetries but it did not seem to pay off. Good progress to the Forts just behind the leading bunch and rigged the kite for the leg to Bembridge. Too tight and too windy initially so cancelled the kite which was a mistake and lost out to Wacky Racer ahead and Imptish who caught us up. Good leg back and onto Hamble Yacht Services and once round got the kite up for the rest of the race. Couple of gybes at Sowerly and Generation with a quick run into the finish at Solent Racing Mark 22 / River Yar Boatyard No. 9.
