Results - 2023

Fairly light wind forecast but turned out to be a decent breeze all the way round the island.  Good beat down the Solent from the start and moved into second position on the water behind Bullet. Missed the inside channel at the Needles and took the safer route with the kite up as soon as we were round.  Good run to St Catherines and bit of debate on how to gybe the Kite but opted for safe option of dropping it and re-hoisting as it was pretty windy and the sea state was a bit lumpy.  Held the kite all the way to Bembridge then it was a beat back up the Solent against the tide.  Wind was a  bit fluky in places but made good progress to the finish at Royal London.
