Went for the no headsail start and got the kite as we went over the line. Initially with starboard pole but gybed back to keep in the better tide, unfortunately the boats that stayed on starboard kept the wind whereas we dropped into numerous holes. Quite a way back at the forts and not long after had to drop the kite and white sailor to West Princessa. A difficult approach due to the strong tide with some boats miscalculating it and having to put in a tack. Once round it was sheets eased 'Ish all the way to the finish but the wind moved around a bit but made it on one tack. Finished just behind Spirit of Kudu and just in front of So which was quite a good recover as So was nearly a mile ahead of us at the mark.
