Light winds off the start and some confusion as to the course to avoid the cable laying barge off Lepe Spit
but made good progress to Yarmouth when the wind died and everyone came back together along with the
JOG fleet. Not a particularly friendly encounter with North East Shingles buoy whilst drifting out of Hurst on
a 6 knot tide but no obvious major damage so continued on with the race. Stayed out when rounding St
Albans then jibed in for the finish when the angle was right and took a good 3rd place behind the low raters.
