Windy at the start with 1 reef and the number 3 but had to put the second reef in in the Needles channel as
the wind picked up. Once out into clear water conditions settled down and got back to a normal sail plan.
Good approach to St Albans with a clear tack into Weymouth Bay to get out of the tide and a good approach
to Portland Bill for the inshore passage inside for the race. Early morning finish into Dartmouth and a bit
tricky navigating into the estuary. Not a bad result for a long beat with a number of bigger boats behind us.
